Anthropology Faculty - Dr. Amy Mountcastle
Associate Professor
Dr. Amy Mountcastle is an associate professor of anthropology and has been teaching at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh since 1998. She enjoys two-wheeled travel, both the motorized and person-powered forms, and has recently taken up playing the clarinet after a long hiatus.

Research Areas
- Dr. Mountcastle is interested in and writes on the Tibet question, diasporas, refugees, issues of human rights and national and ethnic identities.

- Currently developing a study abroad program in the Republic of Croatia for summer 2004
