Biological Sciences Faculty - Dr. F. Daniel Vogt
Professor
My interests are in behavioral and physiological ecology, especially studies in seasonal adaptation to the environment. My most recent research project is a comparative study addressing cold-hardiness in some insects, including bumblebees, cluster flies, and honey bees. I am currently investigating some of the limits to performance in bumblebees encountering cold temperature and inaccessibility to food.
