Biological Science Programs at SUNY Plattsburgh - Internships

Two of our academic programs, cytotechnology and medical technology, include a required 12 month clinical internship at in a hospital setting. For more information on these clinical internships please visit our Medical Technology or Cytotechnology website.

Outside of the academic setting, our students occasionally find paid internships at local or regional institutions. Such paid internships allow students to gain invaluable research experience while completing their program of study.

Our students have recently interned at:

• Wyeth Research in Chazy, New York: Summer internships in research and development.
• CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, NY: Internships are performed for credit during the semester or during break. Learn more about CVPH internships.
