Student and Alumni Resources
The Office of Career Opportunities and Internships (O.C.O.I.) can provide you with all the help you need to get your career started, even before you graduate. Already graduated? School of Business and Economics' (S.B.E.) alumni have access to all the same great resources as current students.
Make an appointment to see us to discuss your needs and how we might be of service. Here are a few links just to get you started.
- Plattsburgh State Career Development Center Resources - Plattsburgh State CDC resources include career assessment and personality tests, general job-search assistance, and job-search sites for specific majors.
- Students In Free Enterprise (S.I.F.E.) - Every year hundreds of S.I.F.E. students start their careers with S.I.F.E. donor companies. Take advantage of S.I.F.E.'s career services, including fall career fairs, online job postings, S.I.F.E. U.S.A. Regional Competitions, and National Exposition and Career Opportunity Fairs.
- Plattsburgh Alumni Career Exploration (P.A.C.E.) Network - PACE is a cooperative program sponsored by the Career Life/Planning Center and the Alumni Office. Alumni are asked to share their professional experiences with current students and other alumni.
- Plattsburgh State Distinguished Visiting Alumni Program - The Alumni Affairs Office sponsors the Distinguished Visiting Alumni Program. This three-day event returns graduates to Plattsburgh State to discuss their careers with students, faculty members and others; share new ideas; and become more involved in the academic mission of the college.
