Dr. Elie V. Chrysostome is full professor of strategic management and international business at the School of Business and Economics at the State University of New York Campus of Plattsburgh and director of CEDIMES Institute USA. He also taught at University of Moncton and Laval University in Canada and at National School of Applied Economics and Management of National University of Benin. He is a research associate at the Walter Somers chair of International Strategic Management at HEC-Montreal and was visiting professor or invited speaker in several reputable universities including Thunderbird School of Global Management (USA), Haute Ecole de Gestion de Fribourg (Switzerland), HEC-Montreal (Canada), Ivey School of Business of University of Western Ontario (Canada), College of Business of Western Illinois University and Institut Superieur d'Informatique Appliquee et de Management (Morocco). Dr Chrysostome was also the head of Marketing and Sales Department for Pepsi-Cola in Benin and served as consultant in management for different public and private institutions.
Dr. Chrysostome is author and co-author of many publications in academic journals and books. His research works have focused on the issues related to International Joint Ventures and strategic Alliances, small businesses internationalization and international entrepreneurship with a particular interest for diaspora entrepreneurship and immigrant entrepreneurship. He was the chair of the International Business Division of the Association of Administrative Sciences of Canada and served as Guest Editor for several highly respected journals such as Thunderbird International Business Review and International Management. He's on the Editorial Board of different international academic journals. He's member of Academy of International Business, Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society and Administrative Sciences Association of Canada.
He graduated from Laval University (Canada) where he earned his Ph.D. in Administration Sciences with specialization in Management
