- About Plattsburgh
The SUNY Plattsburgh campus offers students a number of large, well-equipped computer labs; but if you are a chemistry major looking for a quieter place to work on that term paper, lab report or homework assignment, you can always just go to the Chemistry Student Computer room in Hudson hall.
We maintain five computers all connected to a laser printer for the use of our students. This computer room is open all day, and late into the night for anyone who needs it. To help you make it through those long days, the computer room is located just a few meters down the hall from the Chemistry Student Commons.
The Chemistry Student Commons is reserved for the use of chemistry majors/students.
The commons is open 24/7 and serves as a place for you to go when you need to study with friends, take a break, or just relax.
The commons is designed and furnished to be comfortable while meeting your needs. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave for those late night snacks that help you get that assignment done, or prepare for that test. A CD player is there if you find that some quiet music helps you concentrate.
