Digital Media Production Major

Explore and develop your skills with audio, video, multimedia, and digital design. Learn about emerging technologies and become prepared to work in a variety of fields including website development, digital animation, multimedia production, and digital publication.

The digital media production major teaches you how to create, manipulate, and effectively communicate information to intended audiences. Build websites, produce digital videos, and develop audio expertise. Explore rapidly developing technologies and prepare for the convergence of digitally produced media.

Digital media production is truly the multimedia program in the communication department. Students often choose to add this as a double-major to enhance their expertise in audio-radio, TV-video, and even public relations. Besides developing their own skills in each area, students often collaborate — bringing the best of all worlds center stage online.

Learn about the many career opportunities a digital media production major can have!
