Students enrolled in the TV-Video Production Concentration (part of the TV-Video/Broadcast Journalism Major) acquire their production expertise by learning the mechanics, artistry, and impact of audio and video-based assignments.
Below is a list of the types of projects our students learn to produce:
- Corporate videos, educational videos, music video productions
- Documentary shorts, dramatic shorts, entertainment shows
- Live TV productions including public affairs programs and commencement events
- TV sports events like ice hockey and basketball
- TV comedy shows, TV game shows, TV sports shows (field & studio)
- TV commercial/spots, TV music shows, TV public service announcements
- TV station id's, TV station imagers, TV promotional spots

TV-Video students Andrew Baxter and Tim Brierly produced the "Adirondack Adventure" for Plattsburgh State Television (PSTV). This short intro clip conveys the style and techniques incorporated into this extreme sports show.

Student co-hosts Sean McCluskey and Mike Mueller taks us through a Cardinal Hockey Pre-Game Show for Plattsburgh State Television at SUNY Plattsburgh.
