Computer Science Faculty - Albert Cordes
Adjunct Lecturer
Al Cordes is originally from N. Massapequa, N.Y. on Long Island. He received his B.A. and M.S. from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1970 and 1976 respectively and received an Ed.D. in Computer Science Education from Nova Southeastern University in 1989.
Cordes began his teaching career in 1970, teaching high school physics, math and general science at Northeastern Clinton Central School in Champlain, N.Y. In 1985 he joined the faculty at Clinton Community College, where he currently is Professor of Mathematics and Science, and teaches physics and electrical technology.
Cordes has been an adjunct lecturer at SUNY Plattsburgh in the Computer Science Department since 1995.
In his free time, Cordes enjoys spending time with his wife Pat, and daughters Jessica and Megan, and training for, and participating in, swim, bike and run triathlons.
