Computer Science Faculty - Evelyne Tropper
Associate Professor
Evelyne Tropper will join the SUNY Plattsburgh faculty this fall. She has been a professor at the University of Quebec at Montreal since 1984.
Dr. Tropper has worked for I.B.M. in New York City, for Intermetrics (sub-contractor of NASA) in Cambridge, Massachusetts and she has taught at Lasalle College in Philadelphia, Wellesley College and Northeastern University in Boston.
Her research deals with Modal Logic for Knowledge Representation and the evolution of a topological theory of Machine Learning.
She is a member of the New York Academy of Science, and was listed in "Who's Who in America."
She spends her spare time reading, listening to classical music and jazz, doing Yoga and enjoying nature in the Adirondacks.
