Meet our Economic and Finance Students
Neisha Lestrade

Neisha Lestrade is from Dominica and is a Finance major. She is an active member of several of our clubs including the Investment Club, the Accounting and Finance Club, SEFA, and Omicron Delta Epsilon-Economics Honors Society. Neisha has also received the Shipman Scholarship and our full tuition scholarship given annually to the most outstanding student in the areas of banking and finance.
This program opened many doors to academic and personal success
I like the diversity of faculty and students here and the very warm and open environment. The finance programs are academically challenging too. Dr. Christopherson is well read, a great advisor and someone who is always willing to answer questions. Dr. Fitzpatrick challenged me and nurtured my academic abilities. I chose SUNY Plattsburgh because I heard about the program from other students who were very impressed.
