Curriculum and Instruction Program at SUNY Plattsburgh
The graduate program in Curriculum and Instruction is designed for certified teachers in most subject areas to improve teaching skills. This program, approved by SUNY and the State Education Department, meets the requirements of both Provisional and Initial certificate holders.
Teachers applying to the Curriculum and Instruction program ordinarily hold certification in areas such as Biology 7-12, Chemistry 7-12, Earth Science 7-12, Mathematics 7-12, Physics 7-12, French 7-12, and Spanish 7-12, and childhood education.
Teachers completing this program in a non-registered certification area must apply directly the New York State Education Department.
