Benefits of a CAS in Educational Leadership
Skill development in the program is project driven. The projects involve all aspects of school building and district operation such as opening and closing a school building for the year. Budget analysis, collective bargaining contract analysis are additional examples of projects. The skills used to complete the projects are incorporated in a portfolio which is useful in applying for postions to demonstrate evidence of accomplishments in areas typically found in job descriptions for administrators.
