Entrepreneurship Faculty - Delena "Dee" Clark
Adjunct Lecturer/Director, Small Business Development Center
Ms. Dee Clark, who is the Director of the Small Business Development Center, began lecturing in 2000 and has taught courses in marketing and small business management. A Plattsburgh State School of Business and Economics (SBE) graduate, she has utilized her education to manage her own business, counsel and advise numerous business owners in the region, and through adjunct delivery, share her personal experiences with the students of the SBE.
Believing in experiential learning, she encourages students to explore internship opportunities and provides several internships each semester for students to gain hands on experience working with center clients. Ms. Clark recognizes the benefits of collaboration and willingly partners with numerous agencies to develop resources and enhance service delivery for area business owners.
Ms. Clark is the past recipient of the Plattsburgh-North Country Chamber of Commerce's Small Business of the Year Award and the Dean's Award for Outstanding Student of the SBE. Whenever she is not working, Dee can be found on the golf course!
