Entrepreneurship Faculty - Richard Gottschall

Adjunct Lecturer/Business Advisor, Small Business Development Center

Mr. Gottschall, who is a Business Advisor with the Small Business Development Center, has taught marketing, management, and accounting courses for the School of Business and Economics since the fall of 2001.

Mr. Gottschall served as a business advisor in the United States Peace Corps where he supported a micro-credit bank serving small businesses. He has worked in Southeastern Europe for a venture capital firm and the U.S. Agency for International Development. A small business specialist, Mr. Gottschall started and operated restaurants in Plattsburgh, New York, for six years.

Mr. Gottschall advises hundreds of business owners every year and enjoys bringing real business situations and his international experiences to the classroom.
