Environmental Science Majors

B.A. Environmental Science

Students become broadly-versed in the ecological, physical and human aspects of environmental science. The high degree of flexibility provided by this major allows students to adjust their course selections to a variety of career goals.

Program Requirements

B.S. Environmental Science

Emphasizes the scientific approach to the study of the environment. This major best prepares students to enter graduate programs in many fields of study concerning the environment.

Program Requirements

B.S.  Ecology

This new major emphasizes the interaction of organisms with their environment. This major best prepares students to enter graduate programs in Ecology, and pursue jobs such as natural history interpreters, land managers and wetland scientists.  Although listed as a study option in the current catalog, this is now a unique major.

Program Requirements

B.A. Environmental Science (Study Option in Environmental Planning and Management)

Students concentrate their studies on the effects of humans on the environment and develop skills in planning and management of the environment.
