This new major emphasizes the interaction of organisms with their environment. This major best prepares students to enter graduate programs in ecology, and pursue jobs such as natural history interpreters, land managers and wetland scientists. Although listed as a study option in the current catalog, this is now a unique major.
Students concentrate their studies on the effects of humans on the environment and develop skills in planning and management of the environment.
