The global supply chain management major at SUNY Plattsburgh will prepare you to take part in this fast-growing field and understand how all business function must coordinate.
Since the global supply chain management program is cross-disciplinary and teaches you how to think globally and system wide about an organization, it prepares you for advancement to middle and upper management positions better than any other major. The ability to think about how decisions affect the entire business is a major competitive advantage for student placement and is a core strength highly desirable in today’s business world.

The School of Business and Economics has a large number of internships available for our students. Many of the internships are within the local business community with international companies but some can be done in your own home town! To better assist our students, the School of Business and Economics has its own director of career opportunities and internships.

Technology such as required laptops, SAP, smart boards, state-of-the-art computer labs, and integration of highly valued industry software into our curriculum prepares our students for a career with the knowledge of cutting edge technology. We offer one-on-one advisement to each student. You will have personal contact with your global supply chain management faculty advisor from the start to help you develop your educational and career plans.
Our average class size for a typical global supply chain management is 10–20 students. This enables students to easily participate in class discussions, ask questions in a friendly and receiving environment, and enjoy their educational experience.
