Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management Faculty - Dr. Mark Gultek

Associate Professor

Originally from Turkey, Dr. Gultek earned his B.S. in Restaurant and Hotel Management at Uludag University in Turkey and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Restaurant and Hotel Management at Texas Tech University.

Before coming to Plattsburgh, Dr. Gultek worked as an instructor at Texas Tech, as well as managed several restaurants and dining rooms in Turkey, and Texas. Dr. Gultek has also authored several research articles. Currently, Dr. Gultek teaches International Hospitality, Rooms Division Management, Hospitality Law, and Physical Systems Management.
