Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Mangement Faculty - David Hensarling
Mr. Hensarling is originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he earned his B.S. degree and M.S. degrees. He later attended Texas A&M University where he did additional graduate studies in the area of Tourism. Before coming to Plattsburgh State, Mr. Hensarling taught at the University of Denver, Hotel and Restaurant Management School, was President of Global Hospitality Consulting, Denver, CO., was partner and manager of a restaurant in Texas, and worked for the State Park System of Mississippi.
In his spare time, Mr. Hensarling enjoys boating, motorcycle riding, and spending time at his summer home in Bird City, Kansas. Currently, Mr. Hensarling is teaching Introduction to Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management, Principles of Tourism, Conventions and Meetings Management, and Hospitality Marketing.
