Journalism Faculty at SUNY Plattsburgh - Rob Fountain

Rob Fountain is senior staff photographer at the Press-Republican in Plattsburgh. Since 1989 he has worked as a photojournalist for the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, Lake Placid News, and his current newspaper where he has been responsible for news, sports, features, business and portrait photography. During this time he has received numerous honors, including three First Place awards for Best Picture Story in the New York Press Association's annual Better Newspaper Contest, in addition to two Associated Press Awards for spot news and portraits. Fountain graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2000 with a major in Art Studio with concentrations in photography, printmaking, and ceramics.
