Minor in Journalism

Minor in journalism

For students who are interested in journalism as a complement to another field of study, Plattsburgh State offers the option of a minor in journalism. By minoring in journalism, you can gain knowledge and skills in the field of news media. Students can chose from a variety of professional skills courses, such as newswriting, copyediting and layout, Web design, and magazine article writing. They can also gain newsroom experience with our internships and practicums.
