Minor in journalism
For students who are interested in journalism as a complement to another field of study, Plattsburgh State offers the option of a minor in journalism. By minoring in journalism, you can gain knowledge and skills in the field of news media. Students can chose from a variety of professional skills courses, such as News Writing, Newspaper Design and Layout, Web Design and Production, and Magazine Article Writing. They can also gain newsroom experience with our internships and practicums.
