History of Lake Champlain Research Institute

The main Lake Champlain Research Institute (LCRI) facilities complex, which was dedicated in November 1996, is housed in Hudson Hall on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus and consists of 5000 sq. feet of renovated laboratory, office and conference room space.

This includes modern organic and inorganic chemistry laboratories with extensive analytical capabilities.

The Lake Champlain Research Institute's docking facilities for the research vessel "R/V Monitor" are located at the College's Valcour Educational Center just south of the City of Plattsburgh.
