Students who want to be marketing professionals tend to see themselves as creative and action-oriented individuals. The marketing program will enable you to see the “big picture.”
You will gain knowledge and experience in marketing research to learn what consumers want, and then learn how to develop a comprehensive marketing mix in order to satisfy consumers.

The marketing program at SUNY Plattsburgh is one of the original business programs in the School of Business and is fully accredited by AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
The marketing program offers the traditional courses in marketing plus a wide variety of leading-edge, specialized marketing courses.
Most courses offered in the marketing program are project oriented and emphasize experiential learning.
The marketing program faculty are widely known and recognized for their teaching expertise, caring and dedication to students.
Our award-winning Marketing Club (officially known as the SUNY Plattsburgh Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association) was chartered in 1979, and is one of the most active groups on campus.
