Music Faculty - Robin Cameron-Phillips
Adjunct Lecturer
Robin Cameron-Phillips holds a Master of Music degree in Performance from Northwestern University, Ill. and a Bachelors degree in Performance from Ithaca College. Originally from Westchester, NY, she performs regularly throughout New England with a variety of Vermont Symphony chamber ensembles for their VSO Concert Series, and in particular with the Classic Consort Trio of Vermont. She has appeared most recently as a guest soloist for the Vermont Contemporary Ensemble and has performed recitals with Montreal Symphony Harpist, Olga Gross for the NCCC Arts Series throughout the North Country.
Robin has also performed on flute, piccolo and alto flute with the Vermont Symphony, Toronto New Chamber Orchestra and plays regularly with orchestras from the Burlington Choral Arts Society and Champlain Valley Oratorio Society. She has been on the music faculty at SUNY Plattsburgh for 29 years and is in her 30th year as director of the Saranac Central Schools' junior high band program. She is a certified adudicator for NYSSMA and judges woodwinds for competition festivals throughout New York State.
