Adjunct Lecturer
Janet Geldert is adjunct instructor of horn at SUNY Plattsburgh, where she has also taught courses in the psychology and counseling departments. She performs with the Plattsburgh Community Orchestra and the SUNY Plattsburgh Symphonic Band and Brass Ensemble. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, she performed with the Des Moines Symphony in Iowa, the Madison Symphony in Wisconsin, and several midwestern ensembles prior to moving to Plattsburgh. Geldert is a retired school counselor from Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School.
