Minor in Music
Music Minor (23 credits)
Students who choose the music minor develop basic expertise through an organized program of study that includes foundation courses in music history, theory, and performance. In addition to skills in music, you will develop skills in critical and creative thinking, analysis, and communication.
Benefits of the Music Minor
The music minor allows you to become grounded in the discipline of music, while taking a major focus elsewhere on campus. A minimum of one year of private study is required of music minors, helping you develop the technical skills that support convincing artistic interpretation.
