Nursing Program at SUNY Plattsburgh - Damianos Nursing Skills Lab

We are very proud to have a newly remodeled and well-equipped facility for our nursing students here at Plattsburgh State.

The simulated clinical setting is outfitted with state of the art equipment conducive to timely learning of nursing skills. Students practice with hands-on equipment and utilize computer software to aid learning. Faculty are available to guide students as they enhance their proficiency with nursing care. The lab is open on selected evenings for further practice.

The skills lab provides a dynamic environment, whereby students of all levels can practice a variety of skills. Students are encouraged to refresh their techniques at any time, especially prior to clinical experiences. Review supplies are always available. Teaching videos are also handy should students wish to review them at their convenience.
