Nutrition Faculty - Jeri Reid
Adjunct Professor
Jeri Reid, M.S., R.D., C.D.N. is an adjunct professor who teaches in the areas of maternal, child nutrition, nutrition education and community nutrition. She received her M.S. from Plattsburgh State University in Administration Leadership.
Jeri is a member of the American Dietetic Association and is a Pediatric Nutrition Specialist. She is the Nutritional Coordinator of WIC for the Clinton County Department of Health. Jeri is active in community groups that involve the dissemination of nutritional information. At present she is the chair of EXPLORE, (Experience and Professional Learning Opportunities Result in Excellence), a committee affiliated with the local hospital (C.V.P.H.), the Clinton County Department of Health, Clinton Community College and SUNY Plattsburgh. This committee is hosting medical and nutritional experts in the area of Obesity Management in June 2004. Jeri graciously mentors Nutrition students at the WIC Client, exposing students to the dietetic specialty of maternal and pediatric nutrition.
