International College of Management Sydney


ICMS is an exciting institution in an exciting location (Sydney’s beach suburb of Manly) for those of you interested in hospitality, international tourism, retail services, property services, events or sports management. While ICMS is an internationally recognized provider of HRT programs, it also offers a variety of general business courses. ICMS is serious about business, and as one of its students, you will have to wear business attire to class! Here are the important details you need to know to study at ICMS:

  • Terms: fall (September thru December) and spring (February thru May)
  • Eligibility: open to all students currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university; minimum 2.5 GPA; minimum sophomore standing by the time of study in Australia.
  • Credits: 12-15 undergraduate per semester.

  • Application deadlines: October 1 for spring and March 15 for fall. All application materials must be received or postmarked by the deadline.

Courses at ICMS

Typically, you take four courses at ICMS. ICMS offers majors in international business, hospitality management, retail services management, event management, marketing, international tourism, property management and sports management. Check out ICMS’ course offerings for more information.


ICMS offers internship opportunities for students planning to study abroad for a semester. The ICMS website offers additional details. Please note that students apply for an internship when applying for the study abroad program, so please be sure to contact Study Abroad and Exchanges if you are interested in an internship.


ICMS accommodations represent an invaluable and unique educational experience. They expose you to the variety of cultural ICMS’ students represent from across the world in a safe, friendly, and respectful environment. Rooms are equipped with desk/study facilities, heat, telephone and voice mail. ICMS’ accommodations also include all meals, seven days a week.


Sydney is Australia’s largest city with a population of slightly more than 4 million. It is also known worldwide to be very cosmopolitan and home to a variety of subcultures. Remember that when it is winter here, it is summer there and vice versa. However, do not pack your snowshoes because the climate is moderate in the winter and hot in the summer!
