Professional/Personal Biography: I graduated from Plattsburgh State in December 2002 with a degree in Political Science. After a stint working at a Financial Services Company, I jumped at the chance to return to Plattsburgh State to work in Admissions. Though I enjoy many aspects of the job, I particularly relish the opportunity to meet with students and find those students with whom Plattsburgh is a perfect "match".
Most memorable college experience: Giving the December 2002 Commencement Speech in front of several thousand people!
Favorite Plattsburgh State activity: The productions! I love attending the various theatre and musical events that are put on by the students during the year.
Best advice you received regarding college or would give someone entering college: Build a relationship with a professor. You'll be surprised how much knowing a faculty member will change your life. They're great resources - they can provide academic and career counseling, write letters of recommendation for you, or even nominate you for special awards. Don't pass this opportunity up!
