How and when do I apply for financial aid?

In order to be awarded need-based federal aid and loans you must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). If you are a New York State resident and want to receive state-aid you must complete the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) application as well. The information you report on the FAFSA will be based on your family's taxes and will determine how much you and your family should be able to pay toward your college costs.

How do I apply for scholarships?

Awards range from $500-$4,350 annually. In order to receive best consideration for an academic scholarship, get your application for admission in early (December 1). There is not a separate application to be considered for a scholarship. We base merit awards on your high school transcript, SAT or ACT, and your high school rank.
