Admission Applications

Application for Admission to Graduate Study

Applications to graduate programs at SUNY Plattsburgh are processed by the Graduate Admissions Office, located on the first floor of the Kehoe Administration Building. If you are a Speech-Language Pathology Program applicant also download the Program Specific Admission Applications and Additional Materials listed below.

Letter of Recommendation for Graduate Study (Included in the Application for Admission to Graduate Study)

All letters to graduate programs at SUNY Plattsburgh are processed by the Graduate Admissions Office, located on the first floor of the Kehoe Administration Building. Speech-Language Pathology Applicants have a different letter of recommendation form which is listed below.

Graduate Application Fee Form (Included in the Application for Admission to Graduate Study)

The Application Fee Form allows the SUNY Plattsburgh Student Account's Office to process the application fee payment.

Letter of Recommendation for the M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology Program

All letters to the Speech-Language Pathology graduate programs at SUNY Plattsburgh are processed by the Graduate Admissions Office, located on the first floor of the Kehoe Administration Building.

Communication Disorders and Sciences

Application for Admission to the Certificate Program in Communication Disorders and Sciences

This application is for those individuals who are interested in the Speech-Language Pathology graduate program, but need undergraduate course work (beyond their Bachelor's Degree) in order to prepare and apply for graduate study.

Education Program Application Worksheets

Preparatory Worksheets for the Master of Science for Teachers (MST) in Childhood Education

The worksheet must be completed and approved prior to application into the MST Childhood Education program. The worksheet will determine if you have coursework that must be taken before you apply to the MST program. If you have questions, contact Bethanne DelGaudio, Director of Certification and Graduate Advising, at (518) 564-2124 or delgaubg@plattsburgh.edu.

Preparatory Worksheets for the Master of Science for Teachers (MST) in Adolescence Education

The worksheet must be completed and approved prior to application into the MST Adolescence Education program. The worksheet will determine if you have coursework that must be taken before you apply to the MST program. If you have questions, contact Bethanne DelGaudio, Director of Certification and Graduate Advising, at (518) 564-2124 or delgaubg@plattsburgh.edu.

Withdrawal & Return to Study

Graduate Studies College Withdrawal Form

Withdrawal from SUNY Plattsburgh either during a semester or for two or more semesters is permissible within the guidelines specified in the General Information section of the Undergraduate and Graduate College Catalog. You will not need to pay any fees to be reinstated as a matriculated student. However, your time limitations for completion of your degree program and application of transfer credits or credits acquired in non-matriculated status does not change. Financial aid recipients should consult with a financial aid adviser to determine the impact upon their financial aid before processing a withdrawal form.

Intent to Return to Graduate Study at SUNY Plattsburgh

When you plan to return to your graduate studies after officially withdrawing for a period of time, you will need to complete this form. You will not need to pay any fees to be reinstated as a matriculated student.

This form is required for students interested in seeking Graduate Assistantships.
