Adjusting to U.S. Culture - Hygiene
Most Americans place great importance on personal hygiene.
They are usually very conscious of body odors and use a variety of toiletries such as shampoos, perfumes, deodorants, and mouthwashes.
Americans generally bathe and change their clothes daily, and tend to react negatively toward persons with strong body odors.
