Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: I chose to come here because Plattsburgh has a good education and an affordable tuition.

What do you like best about Plattsburgh: I like the environment here. It's beautiful and has really fresh air.

Interests and Hobbies: I love to meet new people, hang out with my friends, and travel to new places. While I am in Trinidad, I enjoy going to the beach and relaxing. Learning new things is always exciting too.

Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: A lot of friends attended the school and they told me wonderful things about it. I heard the HRTM program was excellent and that is what I wanted to major in. I also found the campus was beautiful.

What do you like best about Plattsburgh: The best thing about being in Plattsburgh is having wonderful experiences: seeing snow for the first time, and being in a place with so many international students from around the world.

Interests and Hobbies: I like to read, ask questions, hang out with friends, play any kind of sports and listen to some good jazz when the time is right.
Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: I initially came to Plattsburgh because they offered me very good financial aid. I remained here because I fell in love with the place, the people and the faculty.
What do you like best about Plattsburgh: The best thing about Plattsburgh is Plattsburgh. Yes, winters are cold and summers are hot, but you don't really notice when you are having fun with wonderful people and learning in a great environment. It might be a small town, but if you take your time and look around, there are plenty of things to keep you entertained.

Interests and Hobbies: I play the tuba in the College Symphonic Band and Brass Ensemble. Also, sometimes I sing in a Chorale group. I love reading, cooking and baking, and of course chatting with my friends!!

Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: Jackie came to my school where I was studying English in Japan and introduced SUNY Plattsburgh to us. Then I liked this school. Later, I visited here before sending in my application, and I loved its atomosphere, environment, and the wonderful people so much.

What do you like best about Plattsburgh: The closeness among people is extreme here. Friends, professors, faculty, staff and community members are all incredibly friendly and nice. Fortunately, it is not rare for me to visit professors' homes!

Interests and Hobbies: I love to read, do crossword and jigsaw puzzles, visit new places, and meet new people. I also love learning about other people and their culture.

Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: For me, Plattsburgh was affordable, thanks to the generous scholarship that I received. The staff at International Student Services was very courteous in their correspondence with me, and they answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns. Now being so far from home, they have become like a family to me, and for that I am truly grateful.

What do you like best about Plattsburgh: Plattsburgh is the perfect size. The environment is very conducive to learning. There are smaller classroom sizes, and the professors are accessible to students. Plattsburgh also has a diverse student population that adds a unique element to the college experience. In addition, there are many organizations that one can become a part of. My favorite is the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir.

Interests and Hobbies: I love coffee, fresh leaves tea and all kinds of Vietnamese traditional foods. Also, exploring new cultures and places is one of my hobbies. In my spare time, I enjoy sports such as swimming, SCUBA diving and cycling.
Why did you choose to come to Plattsburgh: I found Plattsburgh to be a great place to get a good academic education as well as discover American culture.
What do you like best about Plattsburgh: All professors, staff and students are very friendly and willing to help you. In Plattsburgh, there is no difference between international students and other students.
