When traveling to JFK in New York City, you must connect to the Port Authority Bus Terminal or Penn Station to board a bus or train to Plattsburgh. Travel time to Plattsburgh via bus or train is approximately 6-8 hours.
There is regular shuttle from JFK or LaGuardia via the New York Airport Service bus line. The travel time is approximately 30 minutes. Be sure to schedule yourself adequate time to pass through customs after your plane arrives. After passing through customs with your luggage, you will need to board the shuttle to Port Authority Bus Terminal or Penn Station. The fee is between $12 and $15. From Port Authority, you must take a Greyhound bus to Plattsburgh, NY. The fare is approximately $72.00. To buy tickets online or for more information, visit the Greyhound website . Departure times are as follows:

From Penn Station, you must take an Amtrak train to Plattsburgh, NY. The fare is approximately $62.00. The train departs once daily at 8:15 am. You can buy tickets or get more information from Amtrak.com .
We will pick you up at the bus station. Just tell us when exactly you will be arriving on the Student Arrival Information Form.
Take a taxi from the bus station to University Police. ISS will have an overnight orientation leader on staff to help you check into your room.
