Transferring Credit to SUNY PlattsburghBuilding Bridges, Not BarriersAt SUNY Plattsburgh, we enroll all types of transfer students. Some transfer to us in their freshman year - having found their initial college wasn't the best fit. In spring 2009, 92% of coursework completed at other colleges was accepted for transfer. Others start at a community college - planning to earn their associate's degree first and then transfer. Still others are adult students who already hold a bachelor's degree and are looking for a second degree to start a new direction in their lives. We know that each transfer student is different and has unique needs. But, there's one main question that all transfer students have in common - will they accept my credits? Rest assured, at SUNY Plattsburgh, we are a transfer college. We know all about credits and are focused on making the process as smooth as possible - so you can focus on what truly matters - getting your degree.
