Donors interested in providing for the College through the Foundation in their estate plans may find that the simplest method is through a bequest or will. Donors may choose to leave a fixed amount, a certain percentage of their estate, or a remainder interest.
The donor may specify that the gift be used to meet the College's most urgent needs, restrict the gift to a specific program, or create an endowment, which would generate income in perpetuity for the specified use.
A bequest to a charitable organization may reduce or eliminate estate taxes for survivors.
