Cardinals Edge Hartwick, Take Fifth Place
Plattsburgh State sophomore Ryan Ventre (Saratoga Springs, NY) and junior Bryant Wilson (Toronto, ONT) each recorded scores of 80 to lead the Plattsburgh State Men's Golf Team to a fifth place finish in the Hamilton College Spring Invitational, Wednesday in Clinton, NY.
The team posted a 323 score to finish one stroke ahead of sixth-place Hartwick College. St. Lawrence University won the event with a 293 score.
Grant Sharrow (Granville, NY) scored an 81 and Greg Weisen (Nesconset, NY) carded an 83 for the Cardinals.

Men's Golf
The Plattsburgh State men's golf team has undergone a dramatic rise in competitiveness, recently reaching the ECAC Championship tournament. Individually, the team has boasted tournament medallists and all-conference honorees.
The team practices and competes in the fall and in the spring. Plattsburgh golf practices and hosts tournaments at a premier 18-hole facility, the beautiful and challenging Adirondack Golf and Country Club. The team competes in one of the largest athletic conferences in the nation, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC ).
The men's golf team, like all intercollegiate athletics teams at Plattsburgh State, focuses on a commitment to competitive excellence, academic achievement, and community service.
