SUNY Plattsburgh Campus Handbook
Preface
The purpose of this Handbook is to provide an official record of organization, bylaws and other information, which pertain to the responsibilities of faculty/staff members. It should be used as a supplement to Policies of the Board of Trustees, the undergraduate catalog and the graduate bulletin. These official publications should provide each college employee with comprehensive information relative to all aspects of employment. While it is expected that the Handbook will have some special value for newcomers, it is also believed that it will prove valuable to all members of the college community.
The material herein represents principles, policies and statements developed by faculty and administration within the college in order to expedite the operation of the college within the framework established by the Policies of the State University Trustees. Faculty contracts are made in accordance with Policies of the Board of Trustees, and only the Trustees' Policies shall be considered legally binding.
