Can I tell if an item is checked out?
Our online catalog provides all the information you need to locate an item and check its availability. To determine the availability of an item, click on the availability link. If an item is listed in the online catalog as available, but you are unable to find the item on the shelves, you should ask for assistance at the second level Service Desk. If the item indicates that it is loaned and you wish to be notified when it is returned, ask our staff to place the item on hold for you. When the item is returned, we will notify you of its availability and hold the item for up to 10 days.
What happens if I return an item late?
Late fees are automatically charged to patron accounts when items are returned. Late fees do not accumulate on days when the library is closed.
