Request to Photograph or Videotape Special Collections Materials

Please review our Duplication Services and Policy prior to completing this request.

Guidelines

  • Scanning duplication fees apply to all items photographed or videotaped by researchers.
  • No more than 10% of any item or collection may be photographed or videotaped.
  • Copyright, permission, and donor restrictions may apply to some materials.
  • No tripod is available in Special Collections.

The use of photographic equipment must be approved in writing in advance by the Special Collections librarian. No flash photography will be permitted.

Requests will be considered on an item-by-item basis.

If a publication will result from this duplication, a Use Permission form must be completed at the time of duplication. Contact Debra Kimok, Special Collections librarian, to request permission to use materials in publications, displays, etc.
