Saturday Morning Youth Learn to Swim Program Begins Feb. 4

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Jan. 9, 2017) — SUNY Plattsburgh is offering an eight-week learn-to-swim class for children beginning Saturday, Feb. 4 in Memorial Hall pool.
The Young Learn to Swim Program is open to children five and older and at least 47 inches tall who are comfortable in and under the water. The program is structured to improve swimming skills to make them feel safe in and around water.
Children enrolled in Level 2 will be measured the first class and tested for comfort in water.
Cost is $50 per student. Classes are scheduled Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25; March 4 and 25; and April 1 and 8 and run for 40 minutes beginning at 9 a.m.
