At the beginning and end of every day, one thing should be perfectly clear to us: it is, as Sam Pickering writes, "that teaching is both an art and a gift." It is in appreciation of this truth that I welcome you to the site of the SUNY Plattsburgh Center for Teaching Excellence and invite you to take part in an evolving conversation about what we can all do to nourish and sustain excellent teaching.

Task Force members work as peer consultants on behalf of CTE. They communicate with and advise faculty about the many resources that are available to improve teaching.
