E.O.P. Programs and Services
Academic & Personal Counseling
Each E.O.P. student is assigned an E.O.P. counselor trained and experienced in helping students with both academic and personal concerns. E.O.P. counselors assist students with their choices of courses, majors, and professions; with financial aid questions; and with their plans for graduate study.
Counselors also assist with adjustment concerns and other personal issues or refer students to offices on campus or in the community for more serious or specialized issues.
E.O.P. counselors also help students develop more effective study skills and methods. And during the pre-freshman summer program (see above), the counselors offer a weekly series of workshops and activities to assist students in their adjustment to college academic and campus life.
