Call for Proposals - Educational Technology Funds Grants for 2008-2009
We will soon be soliciting Educational Technology Funds Grants for the fiscal year 2008-2009. The awarding of these funds is competitive, with the highest priority being placed on initiatives that reach a broad number of students while clearly enhancing and improving the department or division's educational mission in concert with the college's strategic goals.
Educational Technology Funds Grants are designed to support
- Software for instructional purposes, including software site licenses (upgrades to existing instructional software)
- Technology to support unique curricula needs
- Initiatives that support teaching and learning with technology
The deadline for the receipt of applications is Monday, September 15, 2008. The Deans' Cabinet reviews and ranks all proposals, and funds those that are of the highest priority. Specific budgetary information for those selected will then be prepared in collaboration with the department chairs and the Educational Technology Committee. Projects selected for final funding will be scheduled for implementation during fiscal year 2007-2008.
Preparation and Submission
Proposals must be submitted to and approved by department chairs or directors on the attached Educational Technology Funds Grants application. This application must be accompanied by a brief (no more than a two-page ) narrative description of the project.

If more than one proposal is being submitted by a department, the proposals must be ranked according to the priorities of the department.
No budgetary information is being requested at this time.
