NUR342 - Informatics in Healthcare (3 cr.)

The impact of computer technologies on administration, education, practice, and research are addressed in the context of healthcare and health information technology. Students examine interdisciplinary applications of health information technology to data collection, planning, quality improvement, and management of care outcomes. The efficiency of healthcare delivery in relation to computer technologies and decision making in complex health system are emphasized. (Fall). Prerequisite: MAT161.
