Career Development Center

College is a transforming experience; one that prepares you to face a variety of journeys and opportunities both personal and professional. At the Career Development Center, we’re ready, and eager, to help you move from Now to Next.

Our mission is to empower you toward a meaningful career and life-long professional success.

We partner with the campus, alumni and employers to help you on your way. With individualized career counseling and coaching, career exploration resources, resume development assistance, job and internship posting, graduate school information, and salary data, we’re equipped to answer your career questions and support your career plan.

The Career Development Center conducts the First Destination Survey for SUNY Plattsburgh. This survey collects information on the graduating class members’ activities immediately at the point of graduation (i.e. employment, graduate study, service, seeking, etc.) Questions about the First Destination Survey administration and current results should be directed to Dr. Julia Overton-Healy, Director, CDC.

Our online career services system, CardinalConnect, is available to enrolled students, approved alumni and employers.
