What Is Career Night?
The 34th Annual Plattsburgh State Career Night will provide a unique opportunity for students to interact personally with a broad range of potential employers, while broadening their perspectives on career and employment options.
Typically, 50 to 70 organizations attend this event. These organizations will be available to interact with students regarding career and professional information, part-time and summer employment, internship opportunities, and full-time employment. Alumni are also welcome. See the employers who attended in 2009.
Preparing for a Career Fair
Learn the basics about attending a career or job fair. This information will apply to any job fair but participants will learn more details of Plattsburgh State's annual Career Night. Find out what to wear, what to bring, and what to say. Also, learn what types of organizations will be attending. Workshops are held in Kehoe 612.
