Julia Overton-Healy, Director

Photo of Julia Overton-HealyDr. Julia Overton-Healy began as the Director for the CDC in 2014. She holds advanced degrees in Leadership (Indiana University of Pennsylvania) and in Communications (Eastern Illinois University). Her expertise areas include StrengthsQuest, salary negotiation, women’s leadership, and professionalism education. She is a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences and is also the CEO of SkyTop Strategies, a career coaching business focused on new professionals.

Sally Urban, Sr. Career Counselor

Photo of Sally UrbanMs. Sally Urban, Senior Career Counselor, was born and raised in central Wisconsin (and yes, is a Packers fan). . She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. She obtained a Master's degree in College Student Personnel from Indiana State University. She joined the Career Development Center at Plattsburgh State in the fall of 2000 and is currently a senior career counselor. Sally is Vice President of PAGE, Inc. (Program for African Growth through Education).

Tobi Hay, Career Counselor/Employer Relations Specialist

Photo of Tobi HayMs. Tobi Hay, Career Counselor and Employer Relations Specialist, earned a Master's Degree in Student Affairs from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's in Political Science and Women's Studies from Colgate University. Her experience includes career counseling, corporate recruiting, academic advising and admissions.

Morgan Pellerin, Career Counselor and Applied Learning Coordinator

Photo of Morgan PellerinMr. Morgan Pellerin, Career Counselor and Applied Learning Coordinator, was raised in the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York. He graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor's degree in History and Anthropology. He returned to SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated with a Master's degree in Student Affairs Counseling. His experience includes residence life, admissions, and counseling.

Michelle St. Onge, Career Technology Coordinator

Photo of Michelle St. OngeMs. Michelle St. Onge joined the CDC staff in January of 2014. She has worked part-time on campus since 2006, serving international students in the Global Education Office, as well as athletes and coaches in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Her career counseling experience is drawn from over 15 years as a certified career coach where she served business and community members affected by a reduction in workforce. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont as well as a dual Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs and Guidance & Counseling from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

Cheryl Bushey, Office Assistant

Photo of Michelle St. OngeMs. Cheryl Bushey came to the CDC in the summer of 2016.  She is a native of Plattsburgh.  Her interests include gardening, boating, reading, crossword puzzles, classic rock concerts, aquariums, and amusement parks.  Cheryl is a big fan of marine and wildlife.  She looks forward to assisting students as they prepare for their future
