Directions to SUNY Plattsburgh Commencement

Take Rte 87 N to Exit 24 (Albany)
Pay toll and look for Rt-87 N (Montreal)
Take the Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87) north to exit 37 (Plattsburgh)
After coming off the exit, turn right at the traffic light and proceed east on Route 3.
Remain in the right lane to turn right
Go to the fifth traffic light and turn right onto Cogan Avenue (Domino’s Pizza is at the corner)
Proceed on Cogan Avenue to the second stop sign at the intersection with Rugar Street. The entrance to the Field House is straight ahead.
Cross Rugar Street and enter the main entrance to the Field House grounds.
Turn right and the parking lots will be on the left in front of the Field House.

Take I-90 E to exit 24 (Albany)

Take I-89N in Vermont to exit 17 (Rte 2)
Bear right on Rte 2
Follow Route 2 until junction with Rte 314
Make a left on 314W next to Mobil station
Follow to blinking caution light, turn left and board ferry
Take the Grand Isle Ferry to Plattsburgh
Continue straight on Rt 314 (New York State)
Cross Route 9 and the Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87) and bear right (south) onto the I-87 S. ramp.
Take the Adirondack Northway (Interstate 87) north to exit 37 (Plattsburgh)
After coming off the exit, turn right at the traffic light and proceed east on Route 3.
Remain in the right lane to turn right
Go to the fifth traffic light and turn right onto Cogan Avenue (Domino’s Pizza is at the corner)

Take Rte 15 South to U.S. Customs at the U.S. - Canada Border
Continue south on Adirondack Northway (I-87) south to exit 37.
After coming off the exit, turn right at the traffic light and proceed east on Route 3.
Remain in the right lane to turn right
Go to the fifth traffic light and turn right onto Cogan Avenue (Domino’s Pizza is at the corner)
Proceed on Cogan Avenue to the second stop sign at the intersection with Rugar Street. The entrance to the Field House is straight ahead.
Cross Rugar Street and enter the main entrance to the Field House grounds.
Turn right and the parking lots will be on the left in front of the Field House.

Take US-11 N toward Vermont.
In Ellenburg, turn right on to NY-190 to Plattsburgh.
At intersection, turn left on to NY-3.
Continue to the seventh traffic light and turn right at the intersection onto Cogan Avenue.
Proceed on Cogan Avenue to the second stop sign at the intersection with Rugar Street. The entrance to the Field House is straight ahead.
Cross Rugar Street and enter the main entrance to the Field House grounds.
Turn right and the parking lots will be on the left in front of the Field House.

Staying in Plattsburgh is easy. Due to active tourism in the region, there are several major hotel chains within a short distance to the campus.
